So once again the Fingal allstars take to the stage for the first ceili of the weekend. It turns out to be a great night with seven sets. Dances included the Cashel, the Connemara, Sliabh luachra, Kilfenora. and the Plain set.
All levels of dancers enjoy getting togrther, some for the first time. Distant cousins of Seamus Ennis who visited six years ago from Australia and promised to return for the festival are swinging along with the rest. Others who dance together each week in Ballyboughil step it out with zest.

In between sessions there was a quick dash to Ballymote to join some other musician friends to play for a GAA renunion dance.
Some snipits of musician's and dancers, some familiar faces some just visiting.
It is the first time that dancing has taken place in Killians for many a year, Donal facilitated by putting down an 8'x8' for the weekend
The next live night in Ballyboughil on Thursday 29th November will be a ceilí with a difference, as the theme for the night is 1960's.
The recent black and white night was a mighty success.
