Irish Traditional Musician




Irish Tradiitional music group was formed in January 08 as a result of the all so often sessions around south Sligo

Pat singer and guitarist From Bunninnadden just outside Gurteen and has played with Traditional musicians for 30 years, ten years of which he played with the Castle ceili band.

Padraig from Riverstown who has been playing flute most of his life He is a great organiser of traditional musical events including the James Morrison festival in Riverstown.

Jimmy has  lived in the area for almost twenty years now and have played the old style box for too many years!! I also compose some tunes, some of which get an airing at the gigs . I was awarded the Fingal arts council bursary for Traditional music in 2004. Sean nos dancing is one of those things a like to play for and i have being recorded on Mick Mulkerrins set dance and sean nos dancing videos and televison programmes.

And of course Judy who keeps us on the straight and narrow, organises the sound, and gets the dancers on the floor
